Common questions
Which control scheme should I use?
Try them in order: touch zones are the most forgiving, the virtual stick gives the finest control, tilt is the most immersive once calibrated, and a gamepad is the closest to how these games were originally played. All four are first-class — none is a fallback.
Tilt steering feels off. Can I fix it?
Recalibrate it in the controls menu while holding the phone the way you actually play. Calibration is stored per device.
Does it run offline?
Yes, completely. IonDrive never needs a connection.
The game stutters on my phone.
Lower the graphics settings in the options menu and close background apps. If it still stutters, send your device model and Android version — performance reports on real hardware are how this gets tuned.
Is there multiplayer or an online leaderboard?
Not at the moment. Times are stored on your device.
Reporting a bug
Bug reports are welcome and genuinely useful. The ones that get fixed fastest include:
- Your device model and Android version.
- The app version (shown in the app's settings or on its Play listing).
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is visible.
- Whether it happens every time or only sometimes.
Feature requests
Send them. IonDrive is built by one person, so not everything can be done, and things that are done take the time they take — but requests genuinely shape what gets built next, and you will get an honest answer about whether yours is likely to happen.
Deleting your data
IonDrive stores nothing outside your device and has no account, so deletion is simple: uninstall the game, or use Android Settings → Apps → IonDrive → Storage → Clear data. Nothing is held anywhere else.
