Freestyle Academy
A training room for improvised rap, built the way a practice session actually runs: choose your rounds, put them in order, and the board starts feeding you words, themes and images to rhyme against. The clock counts up and the round ends when you say so — never mid-bar. It runs right here in your browser, nothing to install, and the interface is in Spanish.
What it is
Reps, not theory.
- Six round types, in the order you choose
Easy and Hard rotate rhyming words at ten and five seconds; Temáticas throws a theme you can reroll; Imágenes and Objetos put art on screen; Minuto Libre gives you nothing but the beat. Build the session from any of them. - A clock that counts up, not down
A round ends when you end it, never on the buzzer. The ring fills toward the minute and then stays full while you keep going — no take is ever cut mid-bar. - Battles on one phone
Master Serie and Gallos, each with its own rounds, its own theme pool and its own colours. Build the lineup, pass the mic, and the app handles the handoffs and the entradas. - 6,729 words in 104 rhyme groups
Grouped by ending, searchable, and yours to edit. Your additions and removals sit on top of the published list, so updating it never overwrites your work. - XP the AI decides
There is no XP formula. Your turn is transcribed and scored on flow, rhyme density and whether you actually used the words on screen — and that is where every point comes from.

How it is built
A port, not a rewrite.
Freestyle Academy started as an Android app in Kotlin. This is the same product on the web: plain ES modules, no framework, no bundler and no build step, so what is served is what was written.
- The same rules, not similar ones
Levelling cost, streak behaviour, the word-rotation cadences, the round mechanics, the entitlement gates and the ten logros were ported from the Kotlin one for one — including the deliberate absence of an XP formula. - The same backend, not a second one
Nothing new was deployed for the web. It signs in to the same Firebase project and calls the same functions the Android app calls, so an account is one account on both. - The API key never reaches the browser
Transcription and scoring go through a function that holds the key in Secret Manager and returns only the result. The browser never sees a credential, and the league table is written by the server alone. - Honest about what is missing
Online battles do not exist for any plan and the app says so instead of dangling them. Where something is not built yet, the screen says which. - A palette of its own
The product is not the brand. Freestyle Academy keeps its own dark, saturated look inside the frame while the page around it stays in the studio's ink and paper.
