Freestyle Academy
terms of use

Last updated September 21, 2026  ·  Applies to Freestyle Academy, published by LITrenders (Bruno Camargo).

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and LITrenders — the trading name of Bruno Camargo, an independent developer — covering your use of Freestyle Academy, whether you run it in a browser at litrenders.com or install it from a store.

Using the app means you accept them. If you do not, the remedy is simple: stop using it, and clear its data.

Your licence to use the app

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Freestyle Academy for your own training. You may use it as much as you like, on as many of your own devices as you like.

You may not sell it, sublicense it, rent it out, or pass it off as your own. The app, its interface, its wording, its training modes and its bundled rhyme data remain the property of LITrenders.

What you agree not to do

  • Do not use the app to break the law where you are.
  • Do not attempt to extract credentials from it, or to reach the analysis service other than through the app.
  • Do not automate the analysis feature, flood it with requests, or otherwise try to run up its costs. It is rate limited, and abuse is grounds for cutting off access.
  • Do not submit audio you have no right to submit — a recording of someone who has not agreed to it, or material you do not hold the rights to.
  • Do not resell access to the analysis feature or wrap it in a product of your own.

What you create

Your bars are yours. Nothing in these terms gives LITrenders ownership of anything you perform, record or write in the app — not your rounds, not your recordings, not the words you add to your rhyme library.

When you ask for a round to be analysed, you are asking for that recording to be sent and processed for that one purpose. That permission is limited to producing the feedback you asked for. The recording is not kept afterwards, and it is not used to train models or improve the app. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is sent and to whom.

The AI scoring, and what it is worth

The optional analysis transcribes a round and scores it. Both steps are done by a machine learning model, and both are fallible:

  • The transcript can be wrong, and is more likely to be wrong with background noise, a distant microphone, slang or fast delivery.
  • The scores are generated from that transcript, so an inaccurate transcript produces inaccurate scores. They are a practice aid and a rough signal over time. They are not a judgement of your ability, not a ranking against anyone else, and carry no weight outside this app.
  • Written feedback produced by the model may be generic, mistaken, or unhelpful for your particular round.

Do not treat the output as authoritative, and do not rely on it for anything that matters. It is offered as it is, with no promise of accuracy.

Your account

Signing in is optional. If you do sign in, you are responsible for the security of the Google account you use, and for anything done through it in the app. Access may be suspended if an account is used to abuse the analysis service or to break these terms. You can stop using the account at any time and keep training locally.

Purchases

Freestyle Academy currently charges nothing. There are no purchases, no subscription and no paid tier in the version these terms cover. [IF A SUBSCRIPTION SHIPS, REPLACE THIS SECTION WITH THE PROCESSOR, THE TIERS, THE RENEWAL AND REFUND TERMS, AND THE CANCELLATION ROUTE]

If paid tiers are introduced later, this section is rewritten before they go on sale, and the change is announced in the release notes of the version that introduces them.

Availability, updates and the end of the road

Freestyle Academy is made by one person. It is offered as is, when it is up, with no guarantee of uptime and no support commitment beyond a genuine effort to answer mail.

Features can change. The optional analysis depends on a third-party service, and can be reduced, rate limited or withdrawn if that service becomes unavailable or too expensive to run. The training itself does not depend on it and keeps working regardless.

If the app is ever discontinued, reasonable notice will be given on this site, and the local version will be left in a state where your own data can still be got out of it.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. No promise is made that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any result it produces is accurate.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law allows, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, LITrenders is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising out of your use of the app. Because the default mode keeps your data on your own device, keeping your own copy of anything you care about is your responsibility.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or ten United States dollars.

Ending the agreement

You can end it at any time by ceasing to use the app and clearing its data. LITrenders may end it, or suspend access to the analysis service, if these terms are broken — in particular the acceptable-use section above.

The sections on what you create, no warranty, limitation of liability and governing law survive the end of the agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled by writing to litrenders@gmail.com first goes to the courts of [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION].

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change — when a feature arrives that they do not cover, or when something here turns out to be unclear. The “last updated” date at the top changes with them, and material changes are noted in the release notes of the version that introduces them. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the updated terms.
